This information is fundamental to the core features of our App. This data is stored locally on your device and may be sent to our secure API to generate your chart.
- AI Chat: When you interact with our AI chat feature, you may provide text-based inputs. While the content of your conversations is processed to provide you with a response, we do not log or store the substance of your chat messages.
Information We Collect Automatically:
- Usage and Device Information: We automatically collect certain information when you use the App to help us understand usage patterns, diagnose problems, and improve our Services. This includes:
- Device Information: Your device type, operating system (e.g., iOS), and version.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, screens viewed, and actions taken. We use third-party services for product analytics to understand how to make Skyli better.
- Crash and Performance Data: To identify and fix crashes and performance issues, we use third-party services that collect anonymized data about the state of the app and your device at the time of a crash.
- Purchase and Subscription Information: If you choose to purchase a subscription to Skyli, your transaction is processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment details, such as credit card numbers. We use a third-party service to manage subscription statuses. This service receives confirmation of your purchase from the App Store and provides our app with anonymized information about your subscription entitlement (e.g., whether it's active or expired). This allows us to unlock premium features for you without requiring you to create an account.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Personalize Our Services:
- To generate your birth chart, daily horoscopes, and other personalized astrological content.
- To power the AI chat feature, allowing you to ask questions and receive insightful responses.

- To send you push notifications if you have them enabled. These may include daily horoscopes, app updates, or other relevant information. You can manage your push notification preferences in your device settings. We use third-party services to send notifications.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share your data with trusted third-party service providers as necessary to operate and improve our App.

- Analytics and Performance Monitoring: We use third-party services to help us understand app usage, monitor performance, and identify crashes.

- AI Providers: We use third-party generative AI models to power our AI chat feature. Your prompts are sent to the provider to generate a response. As mentioned, the content of your private chat messages is not logged for our review.

- Social Sharing:
- We use the Facebook SDK to allow you to share content, like an image of your birth chart, to your Instagram Stories. This action is initiated by you, and the data is shared directly with the Instagram app on your device. We do not gain access to your Facebook or Instagram profile information.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, or in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or the public.

We are committed to protecting your information. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

You have rights regarding your personal information. Since we do not have user accounts, your data (like your birth information) is primarily stored on your device.
- Accessing and Correcting Your Information: You can view and change your birth information directly within the App's settings.
- Deleting Your Information: You can delete your information by deleting the App from your device. This will remove all locally stored data. If you wish to ensure your data is removed from our analytics services, you can contact us.
- Data Portability: You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.
